About Us
Sumner County Fire Buffs Association is a 501(c)3 based in Hendersonville, but serve all of Sumner County and Robertson County.
Our mission is to assist in prolonging first responders' performance and decreasing on-scene injuries and deaths, by providing rehab services, which include rest, recovery, relief and rehydration.
We have three retired ambulance/rescue and one auxiliary vehicles. These vehicles allow us to store nutritious snacks, cases of water and electrolyte drinks, blankets, first aid and much more. The ambulances also provide a space for either cooling off in the summer or a place to warm up in the winter. All allowing first responders to get back to the task at hand with minimal interruption.
Currently, we are 20 volunteers ready to take calls 24/7/365 to support Fire, EMS & Police at extended scenes for as long as needed. Our primary form of income is by donations and fundraising events, such as our upcoming 3rd Annual First Responders Golf Tournament on Monday, June 6, 2022, at the Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville. More information regarding the tournament is forthcoming.Tell a Friend
